Signing and mandate pages - terms

Updated 15 Jul 2026

These terms govern the pages of the Wectory platform on which a landlord signs a factoring agreement, or a landlord or tenant sets up a Direct Debit mandate, using a personal link sent to them (the "Signing Pages"). By using a Signing Page you accept these terms.

1. Who operates the pages

The Signing Pages are operated by Wectory Ltd ("Wectory"), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 12790239), registered office 86-90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE, United Kingdom. Contact: in@wectory.com. Wectory provides the technology on behalf of the letting agent or property manager named on the page (the "Agent").

2. What the pages do, and who you are dealing with

An agreement you sign on a Signing Page is between you and the Agent. Wectory is not a party to it and never holds, routes or receives the rent or the advance. A Direct Debit mandate is set up with GoCardless, the regulated Direct Debit provider (authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority, FRN 597190); your bank details are entered only on GoCardless's own secure page and are never seen or stored by Wectory or the Agent.

3. Your link is personal

The link you receive is for the named recipient only. Do not share it. If you receive a link you did not expect, or you are not the person named on the page, do not proceed; contact the Agent or in@wectory.com. Links expire and can be reissued by the Agent.

4. Signing record

When you sign or confirm on a Signing Page, the platform records your name, email address, IP address, browser details and the time of signing, as evidence of the signature or confirmation. An electronic signature given this way is legally effective. If you prefer not to sign electronically, ask the Agent for an alternative.

5. No advice

Nothing on a Signing Page is legal, financial, tax or regulatory advice from Wectory or the Agent. Read the document you are signing in full and take your own advice if you are unsure.

6. Acceptable use and liability

You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform, interfere with it, or use a Signing Page fraudulently. The acceptable-use and liability sections of our Website Terms of Use apply to the Signing Pages in the same way, and nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

7. Your data

Wectory processes the personal data entered on the Signing Pages as the Agent's service provider; the Agent is the controller and its privacy notice governs. Wectory's Privacy Policy explains Wectory's own role and how to raise a data question or complaint.

8. Governing law

These terms, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them, are governed by the law of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
